Osho (born Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh), was an Indian spiritual teacher. He was born December 11, 1931, in Madhya Pradesh, a state in India. After his enlightenment when he was 21, he taught Philosophy at the University of Jabalpur. He then led meditation and lectures on religion, philosophy, and enlightenment in India. He also founded the Osho International Meditation Resort in Pune, India, which published Osho Times until 2009.
